"Just living is not enough, said the butterfly, one must have sunshine, freedom and a little flower too".

This quote comes from the fairy tale "The Butterfly" by Hans Christian Andersen. And how true it is. Because what would life be without the beautiful things?

Growing up in a suburb of Copenhagen, I picked all the flowers along the way when I could barely walk. However, to my mother's chagrin, I also picked flowers that were not quite on my path!

Despite this love of flowers and nature, I only found my vocation as a florist late in life. I am all the more happy now when I am able to convey this joy to other people.

When I'm tinkering in my workshop, I always forget the time - because it just makes me happy.
